What You’ll Do

- Remove old equipment and recover refrigerant the right way, every time
- Fabricate and modify ductwork, plenums, and transitions for a clean fit and strong airflow
- Braze linesets with nitrogen, pull a proper micron evacuation, and weigh in the charge
- Make gas, electrical, venting, and condensate connections to code and manufacturer specifications
- Start up, test, and commission every system, and document the readings
- Walk the homeowner through the new system and thermostat before you leave
- Protect the home with floor coverings and leave the work area cleaner than you found it
Who You Are
- A self-motivated installer who takes pride in your work and doesn’t need to be chased
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Obsessed with the details: level pads, straight lines, sealed joints, and tidy wiring
- EPA Section 608 certified
- Skilled in sheet metal, brazing, gas piping, low-voltage wiring, and system start-up
- A clear, friendly communicator who treats every home with respect
- Able to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all seasons
- Holder of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and able to pass a background check
- Virginia HVAC Journeyman or Master license (DPOR) is a plus
